Nursery Sales / Plant Care Staff Member
- Care for nursery stock, such as watering, pruning, scouting for pests and diseases.
- Assist customers in choosing the right plants for their needs.
- Inform customers about proper plant care and find solutions to landscaping problems.
- Provide genuine, outstanding customer service.
- Perform office tasks such as operating a cash register, scheduling planting services, restocking supplies, opening and closing procedure.
- Cleaning retail space
- Stocking shelves with product
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Other Duties:
- Weeding
- Mulching
- Miscellaneous tasks.
- Previous plant / garden experience is helpful but not required. Applicant must possess these qualities and abilities:
- MUST be responsible, punctual, dependable and have reliable transportation.
- Strong interest in plants and ability to learn quickly.
- Self-motivated / able to find tasks on your own.
- Ability to learn and use point of sale software and be detailed when inputting data and ringing up sales.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks and be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and occasionally lift 25+ pound objects.
- Work both independently and with a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Field Laborer
We are looking for an individual who is customer service focused, self-motivated, and enjoys getting their hands dirty. The applicant must be a strong team-player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. No previous experience is necessary. Pay rate depends on experience. This position will generally have 40+ hours a week, and weekends off, unless otherwise discussed. It is a seasonal/full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Assisting in everyday tree farm activities
- Communicating with customers in a professional manner
- Doing miscellaneous landscaping jobs
Qualifications:
- Punctual, and have a reliable source of transportation
- Reliable

- Hard-working
- Able to communicate well with others
- Willing to learn about trees and shrubs (plant knowledge is helpful)
- Able to stand and perform strenuous tasks for 8+ hours a day
- Willing to learn and retain everyday work tasks
- Capable of lifting 50+ pounds over long periods of time
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Groundskeeper and Field Laborer
We are looking for an individual who is extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated and enjoys getting their hands dirty. Applicants must be able to complete tasks on their own. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is able to find tasks above and beyond what is expected. The position will generally have 40+ hours a week, and weekends off, unless otherwise discussed. Pay is determined by experience and ability to meet and exceed the expectations of the aforementioned tasks. Applicants must be able to pass a background check of their driving record. Former experience is not needed, but it may be beneficial. It is a seasonal/full-time position.
