Delivery

Delivery is based on mileage away from the farm.

• The Base Charge is $50.00 for delivery, and this covers one truck for a distance of up to 15 miles away from the farm.
• Every 5-mile increment beyond the original 15, is an additional $15.00

*Plants per truck vary depending on the size/variety purchased.

**Any delivery beyond 30 miles is subject to a surcharge.

Planting

The cost to have trees and shrubs planted is as follows:

• A 7- or 10-gallon container costs $65.00 to plant
• A 15-gallon container costs $120.00 to plant
• A 20-30 gallon container costs $160.00 to plant
• Anything larger is priced on an individual basis

*We are no longer offering planting services on plant material smaller than a 7-gallon size.

When you choose to have your plants planted by us, there are many perks that are included with that:

• Prior to the planting, we give you white flags to mark the location of your new plants. We then call Iowa One Call for you to make sure all utilities are accounted for.
• An appropriately sized planting hole is dug, and the roots are prepped for planting. We use your existing soil to backfill.
• We apply a thick layer of natural mulch at the base of each plant.
• We then provide the tree or shrub with an initial drink of water and a root stimulator to promote a healthy transplant and faster initial growth.
• A slow release fertilizer is applied to the plants to promote more prolific growth.
• Excess soil that is generated when we dig the hole is hauled away by us, unless you prefer to keep it.

For 15-gallon and larger plants

• Staking service using 2 or more T-Posts and tree tie webbing is included.
• Trunk protectors for all applicable trees is included.
